Here is Chapter 7: Unspoken Words and Hidden Glances
The wedding celebrations continued in full swing, the music and laughter filling every corner of the Malhotra house. Guests danced, elders chatted, and kids ran around in excitement. But amidst all the chaos, Saanvi’s mind was stuck on one thing—the letter.
Reyansh had noticed the way Saanvi had panicked when she dropped the chit. He had seen the rush in her eyes as she quickly picked it up and tucked it away. What was she hiding?
Later that evening, as everyone sat around for a mehendi ritual, Reyansh casually took a seat beside her. “Bohot chhupi rustam ho tum, Saanvi.”
She looked up, startled. “Kya?”
He smirked. “Aise hi. Tum kabhi kabhi bohot ajeeb lagti ho, jaise kuch chhupa rahi ho.”
Her heart pounded. Did he know?
Before she could respond, Tanya and Aisha pulled her away for another round of performances. But Reyansh's words stayed with her, making her wonder—was she really hiding her feelings that well,or was Reyansh already suspicious?
As the night deepened, Saanvi found herself standing near the terrace, watching the fairy lights twinkle around the venue. She sighed, clutching her purse where the letters were safely kept.
A familiar voice broke her thoughts. “Shaadiyaan ajeeb hoti hain na?”
She turned to find Reyansh standing beside her, looking at the crowd below. “Ek din sab kuch normal hota hai aur doosre din, koi kisi aur ka ho jaata hai.”
Saanvi swallowed hard. “Sabke liye nahi.”
He glanced at her, a strange emotion flickering in his eyes. “Haan… kuch rishte toh bina kahe hi likh diye jaate hain, bas samajhne ki der hoti hai.”A sudden gust of wind blew a few papers from Saanvi’s purse, but before she could react, Reyansh bent down and picked up one. It was one of her letters.
Her breath hitched as he held it up, his brows furrowed. “Yeh kya hai?”
