I knew that my shadow was out there in the world somewhere, but in all my years that I have been alive I always thought that she would just be consuming people and turning them evil, using them for her own benefit and then disposing of them. I never would have thought that she would actually get attached to someone, turning them onto her new host and eventually breed.
These people were doing part of my work for me, and they didn’t even know it, but something was wrong, even though their shadows looked demonic and evil, they were certainly not acting like it.
