The first thing I did in the morning when I woke up was checked to see if shadow had woken up, she was still sleeping but she looked in better shape than she did last night when Leon found her. “Ciara wake up, we’re starting to train today” I told her in the mind link “ugh Derek it’s too early” she wined back “there’s something we haven’t told you and you need to come to practice, now!” I wasn’t going to take it from her today, for all we knew those hunters could be after us as well and Ciara ran more of a risk than me and Leon did since she wasn’t immune.
