Arlo Pov
Emerald and I are thrown back to the grass where we left. We look around and things are back to normal.
“Hey guys, you alright?” Our father asks as he comes out the pack house. “That was abit of a rough landing.” He helps Emerald up before offering his hand to me too. I take it and he pulls me up.
I look to Emerald and wonder if we both saw what we just did. I can tell by her pale expression that we did.
“We’re still getting used to the magic I guess,” I say to dad and pat Emerald on the arm. “Go ahead inside and find the boys.”
She looks at me blankly before nodding and heading inside.
“Where did you go?” My father asks.
“To see Nova,” I tell him with a slight smile. “It was good. We talked a lot out and I feel much better about the memories coming back.”
