I am about four cocktails in and feel a lot more relaxed now.
I pull Nova with me to the toilet.
“How are you feeling?” I ask her outright.
She sighs softly but seems more relaxed. “I just don’t know what to do Em.”
I hold her arms and make her look at me. “Max loves you. But Arlo loves you too. The decision has to be entirely yours Nova. You need to listen to your heart.” I tell her with a firm nod.
“It’s not that simple,” she shakes her head. “Max and I have children, a whole pack to run.”
