We have been cuddling on the bed for around ten minutes before a knock sounds on the door.
“Come down. Reggie and Jessabelle are getting ready to leave,” Meg says through the door.
I hop off the bed and open the door before Meg can take any steps away. I wrap my arm around her waist and we walk down together. Elijah and Ethan following behind.
“Where’s Yusef?” I ask my little sister.
“He still feels awkward with Jessabelle and Reggie. He’s in our room.” She says and I don’t miss the tinge of sadness.
