Reggie Pov

“Say hello to Uncle Reggie,” Jess practically sings as she walks back in the room.

I blink over at her before smiling. “I thought you were going to fetch drinks. Not a baby.” I chuckle at her.

“Well a baby is better,” she coos at baby Jada and sits beside me. “Say auntie JessJess.”

Jada babbles a load of nonsense at her but it’s cute so I can’t contain my smile anyway.

Zagreus is grinning too.

“Oh goddess,” Jess says when she looks at me. She touches my cheek, “is that an actual smile?”

I push her hand away with an annoyed huff. “Not anymore.”

‘Big baby’ Zagreus sighs at me.

Jess chuckles at me just as Megan stalks in the room. She beelines for the baby of course.

“Thank you,” she says as she picks Jada up. Then she walks out the room.

Jess is left to pout on the chair.

I pull her to me and she straddles my lap.

“Who isn’t smiling now,” I tell her with a raised eyebrow. My hands on her thighs.

‘Tease her’ Zagreus encourages with a dark grin.

“Why would I smile? She took my baby.” She says and crosses her arms. All it does is push her t**s up. They threaten to spill out of her low cut T-shirt.

“We could practice making a baby?” I say suggestively.

I lean forward and press my mouth to the swell of her breast just as my hands slide higher on her legs.

Goosebumps instantly rush over her skin and I smirk.

‘She is our mate’ Zagreus says confidently. We will find out soon enough.

My lips move up her neck until I reach her mouth. She presses her lips to mine just as…

“Urgh!” Arlo complains loudly and turns his back to us. “Go to a bedroom or something. You’re in a damn living room.”

I start to laugh and Jess smirks, making no attempt to climb off my lap.

More laughing follows as the twins and Emmy walk in. “Looks like you are c**k blocking all your sisters this morning Arlo.” Elijah says before winking at Emmy.

Arlo looks to Emerald in horror before shaking his head and walking away.

Ethan walks in and fist bumps me with a laugh before sitting down.

Elijah drags Emmy in and they sit on another sofa together.

“FIFA?” The twins ask me in unison. The girls both groan in unison.

“Actually,” I say with a smirk, Jess narrows her eyes at me. “Jess owes me a drink.” In one swift movement I am on my feet with Jess over my shoulder. She squeals as I land a slap on her ass.

The twins laugh again as I carry her from the room.

Megan Pov

“You like the blue ones?” I say to Jada as she reaches for the flowers. We are currently sat in the flower garden surrounded by so many colours and smells.

‘It’s beautiful’ Eid says.

“Finally,” Arlo says and sits beside me. “A sister who isn’t humping their mate in front of me.”

“We don’t know if Reggie is our mate,” I say sadly. Eid is quiet too.

I know Jessie and Reggie think they are mates, or at least want to be mates. But I am not sure i do.

“You know, you don’t have to accept the same mate.” Arlo tells me softly.

“But she is my twin, my best friend.” I try to explain. “It’s hard to explain but my relationship with Jessabelle is so different to you and Em.”

He nods at that, “I see the way Ethan and Elijah are with Emerald.” Then he rolls his eyes and I laugh.

“It must be hard seeing your little sisters grown up,” I nudge him.

He nudges me back, “it’s abit strange.”

“Where’s Raven?” I ask him and his smile immediately drops. “Things not good?”

He just shakes his head.

“Well we’re all here if you need anything,” I tell him and then look back to Jada. She is playing in the dirt around the flowers.

“I need Nova,” Arlo says quietly and looks at me with a sad smile. Then he exhales heavily, “the only advice I can give you Meg, is don’t have any regrets. It’s horrible to live full of regrets.” And with that he stands and takes Jada back inside.

I know my brother has been struggling with Raven. He can’t seem to shake his love for Nova and it is breaking them apart.

But he is right, I need to make decisions for myself. Ones I won’t regret.
