Chapter 3 – First TasteImages of snow surrounded her. Icicles formed from leaves still clinging tightly to the ends of branches. It all twinkled in the sunlight, offering a mystical scene. It wasn't cold like it should have been. The snow falling was warm like a summer's rain. It was refreshing as it caressed her bare cheeks. It was strange and it confused her senses. Her memory told her it should be cold and that she should be shivering. Her sense of touch told her that she would be fine to strip her winter gear. She sat up.
