I hope the maid is alright. At midnight, she received news from her family that her mother was sent to the hospital after collapsing at her workplace. Impulsively, I offered to drive her to the hospital to meet her family. I am not waiting by the lobby because it doesn’t seem like there’s good news.
It’s almost 4 am. And from the looks of things, the maid’s mother will not be able to make it. Miss, it’s alright for you to go home. It would be best if you got ready for the wedding. I’m alright. I’ve informed miss Tiffany, and she will send another maid to help you get ready. I’m sorry for this.” I waved my hands-off.
“I’ll stay until 5. I would feel bad if I leave.” The maid couldn’t hide her tears anymore.
