Food issues Brekky for John was always the same during the week. Microwaved Weetbix laden with sugar served to him in bed with a cup of tea and soggy toast covered in jam. Disguised as a sweet gesture it was designed to keep Jim and his sister in their rooms and out the way. His Dad’s job was very important you see and he had to drive a long way every day to get there.
