The cream brick dream theme It’s always the same. The dream. Sometimes he can see over the top of the wall. Other times he is being bricked in. Brick by brick. He watches as they layer up in formation. Cream bricks. But the view is beautiful beyond them. He can see clear skies and white feathery clouds like Neverland. He will be Peter Pan flying over it. A free spirit. An eternal boy. He looks over the mortar as its greyness slides over the edge like icing; wipe it with a finger. Feel the sharpness of the edge. As he gets older he sees himself with a sledgehammer. Sometimes he breaks through and other times it bounces off shaking him as another layer of bricks goes on top.
