Noisy cabbage

Make a noise like a cabbage for the next half an hour could you Jimmy. Wracking his brains…Jim would go silent. What sound does a cabbage make? Grandpa James would then continue reading or doing some navy rope work. Jim would experiment with little shrieks or grunts within his earshot to see if he had nailed it. Eeeeek. No. Mmmmmnarg…NO. Not even a live one in the garden to listen too. Exhausting challenge. No wonder he always slept well at their house.
