The day of the exam dawned. Following the tradition of schedule, it was on a Sunday. Mia had arrived at her mom’s on Saturday morning and had taken the whole day to unwind. Since Raj was in the city they had gone for a Table Tennis game to take Mia’s mind off the stress of exams.
While saying good night, Raj kissed her on the forehead. “Goodnight sweetheart, I will be waiting at this corner tomorrow morning to pick you up at eight.”
“No way! I will take my bike,” she protested. She hated depending on anyone. She was a self- reliant girl and did not need a man to drive her around.
“I have a call at AFMC babe, doesn’t make sense to travel separately if we are going to the same place,” he smiled with a twinkle in his light brown eyes.
“You sneaky rat! What time is your call?” She glowered
