After a busy day Mia returned home. She found Raj at the apartment. He had loosened the first few buttons of his linen shirt, rolled up the sleeves and sat on the couch reading through some papers. She felt happy and content to see this sexy man in her living room but wasn’t prepared to let go of the anger yet.
She went over to the kitchen to get some water to drink. Raj looked at her, “still angry?”
She shot an angry glance at him and continued drinking water.
He sighed, got up and walked over to her, “I am sorry. I should have stopped Nicky from spreading those rumours. After you came in my life I was not attracted to anyone. I tried mingling with other women but couldn’t. The rumours kept other women away from me and I took the easy way out. I am very sorry.” He looked into her eyes
