The viscount and the priest watched as the young servants carried Jasper outside into the morning air. Vincent felt the urge to follow them to ensure that they carried out his orders, as Jasper was a loyal servant who had served the family since before Vincent was born.
But he decided that the matter at hand was more pressing. Vincent desperately needed to know what had happened to his father in his absence, and why such an unholy desecration had been allowed to take place.
