Oh Goddess! I stood frozen as Aery’s green eyes cleared from the haze, and he continued to stare at me like I was the eighth wonder of the world. I didn’t dare breathe lest it put him off. I never knew for how long we stood there, my small frame versus his couched position, green eyes homing into my translucent grey ones. One thing which puzzled me though was why would he be looking for wine during a time like this? Was he thirsty? “Wine? Is this really the moment to crave for wine?” I whispered dramatically as I moved my eyes tellingly towards the dragons.
