CHAPTER THIRTY-EIGHT: NO BACKING DOWN
Excitement rolled through me as I woke up the morning on which we were supposed to go back. In preparation to our forthcoming absence, Aerys had established a training base in the Neverland camp to set things in motion. I had also joined the ground, but there has been no enhancement in my ‘new’ powers yet. No matter how hard the others had tried, nothing had triggered that inexplicable show of strength that had suddenly threw the prince off the wall again. Everybody had written it off as a fluke during the trainings, and my silence had been an accomplice of my acquiescence. Truth be told, I was not very convinced myself that I had hidden powers which had the capability of changing the future.
