Elwyn's POV
As soon as I finished speaking, Dennis's eyes lit up like two bright lights. He froze mid-bite, and his fork almost dropped to the table. "Really, Mom? Uncle Jackie is coming with us?" His voice was full of surprise and excitement, and I could feel his joy bursting forth.
"Yes, I invited him to join us," I nodded, smiling at the sheer delight on my son's face.
Dennis jumped up from his seat, unable to contain his happiness. "Yeah! That's awesome! Uncle Jackie will play with me all day!" He spun around in excitement, running around the table as if he couldn't believe what I had just said. "I'll show him how to roast marshmallows! And we can play volleyball too. Mom, do you think Uncle Jackie's good at volleyball?"
