The scene left me feeling bittersweet. Not because Chihira deserved sympathy, but it was clear that David wasn't a good man either. He only cared about his image, not because he thought his wife's behavior was wrong.
As David and Chihira disappeared from sight, the tense atmosphere slowly began to dissipate. The remaining women avoided making eye contact with me, and I had no interest in seeking their sympathy or apologies. All I wanted was for this to end, to return to Dennis and continue with our lives.
Standing there, I watched the scene unfold, and the anger that had been consuming me started to fade. The truth had finally come out, and Chihira's baseless gossip was exposed and shut down.
