  Elwyn's POV   I hung up the phone, feeling like my entire world was shattering. The car sped forward, every second stretching out like an eternity. I couldn't stop imagining the worst scenarios: Dennis being kidn*pped, lost... Every fear a mother could have weighed down on me, making my heart feel like it was going to explode.
