I ran as if I had nothing left to lose, my feet barely touching the cold ground outside the party. My heart pounded, not just from exhaustion, but from the confusion and pain overwhelming my mind. The music from the party faded into the background, leaving only the sound of my footsteps echoing in the darkness.
