Jackie burst out laughing, running a hand through his disheveled hair, sweat glistening on his forehead. "Yeah, totally crazy. But… so worth it," he said, his voice filled with pride and a touch of mischief.
I couldn't help but laugh along with him, feeling the worries and tension of the evening slowly melt away. The two of us sat there, leaning against the alley wall, our laughter echoing through the quiet space.
As our breathing steadied, I looked at Jackie and softly asked, "What do you think they'll do next?"
Jackie shrugged, smiling lightly. "They'll definitely look for us, or at least think someone is pulling a prank on them. But don't worry, we got away without anyone noticing."
