Alyssia As we entered the room, the others were already there. “Yoodles!” Ziara screeched. “Can you be more mature? I don’t think people say yoodles or whatever that’s supposed to mean. I pity you Alyssia.” “No actually she serves as my comic relief.” She rolled her eyes and flopped onto the nearest bed. “Took you long enough,” Venus commented quietly. “Long enough to Zeus to flirt with every single chick out there, yes.” “Wow.” “So, what’s the plan?” “Let’s go scout there first, then decide.” “It’s a restaurant.” “Then let’s go have fooooood!” “Wow, I’m totally hungry.” “For starters, I need get changed- totally soaked.” “For starters, can you please get off my bed.” “For starters, since when was this your bed?” “10 minutes ago, now do get off thank you very much, the girl’s room is in there.” As Gwen and Ziara disappeared into the other room, I set my head against the armchair, my body sank into it, allowing me to slowly nod off. “Good morning sunshine!” The girls screeched behind me. Forcing me to jump up, sliding my hand in my pocket. Evidently, it was just Gwen and Ziara yelping at me. “Jez, I was just trying to get some sleep!” “No time for that we have business- and anyways, I’m hungry.” “I’m not-” I protested. “Don’t make us.” Gwen started, enough to make my jump up. “Fine fine.” As the boys entered, they looked us up and down discreetly, I couldn’t help breaking out a smirk- yes, we did look nice. Gwen was wearing a tight creamy tube top with short jeans, hair pulled into a tight braid down the middle, letting her hair fling in the sides. Her exo looping over her, almost invisible- actually it was invisible. Me on the other hand was wearing a khaki top with matching jean shorts, my hair loose as usual. I parted a dangerous smile across my face, “I’m ready.” “Oh- wait.” Ziara paused, reaching into her bag and pulled out a small pistol with an ankle holster, sliding it into her left boot, along with a six- inch knife, which she casually flipped into her right boot. That was one dangerous girl. “Mkay, now we head out to the café.” The five of us marched out and met the others in the corridor. After a short drive of 10- 15 minutes we arrived at a not- so discreet café, overlooking the cliff on one side, and the French streets on the other. I ordered a mocha and sat down with the rest, causally glancing around for cameras, tables and quirks. Simply putting it- in a few days this family friendly café world be a mad house with blood splattered everywhere. Me and Lyla went up to apply for a “waitress”. Supposedly tomorrow a few days before the trade. After thorough examination, I finished my mocha and headed out, with the others following me. “That café is a mad place for someone to trade a country’s to secret weapon.” “Sure- but simple enough to make it illusional.” “True,” I swerved the car past the street, scanning for any alleyways or quirks (as usual), planning an escape route. ~Friday. Waking up to the alarm, I fitted myself into a plain white crop top with ripped jeans, looping my exo over everything. Me and Lyla headed out to the café in motor bikes. Entering, I secured my rings at the back of my throat, scanning and checking that my contacts we in properly. “Remember- try stay calm at any situation.” I hissed at her as two people entered. Casually ordering two lattes. They stayed for a while, then left. At exactly ten, the rest of the g**g arrived. Rio, Zeus, Gwen, Ziara and Venus. Oh yeah, they others were on standby. “The guns are under table four and five.” I whispered. As they ordered some coffee. I stood there tapping my nervously foot as two people entered- one man, one woman- both matching the suspect’s image. About 10 minutes passed with me stealing constant glances across the others. Gwen raised her hand, signalling for the check. “Is that the signal?” Darko’s voice came through. I nodded and quickly sent Lyla to them, settling my eyes on the hexagonal Adrastea sitting on the tabletop of the two. I walked towards them. “Monsieur, des boissons pour vous ? Café ?” “Non merci ma chère. ” I slid my hand across the table, reaching for Adrastea while collecting the plates. “Omg what is happening!” “Jesus! Jesus! Jesus Christtttt!” “Hey! What the hell are you doing!” The woman yelled pulling out her g*n, with me dragging mine out in exchange. There were faded screeches in the background. In the back of my throat, I could hear the others cursing. Launching a kick to her stomach, she sidestepped, jerking the grip of her pistol into my hip. I chocked, missing my shot as I fell back. Pushing a table to block a punch, I landed an elbow to her hips. All this while, the man just sat there- no Ziara shot him. Going into a brawl with her, I kicked the guns aside, hooking my leg across her neck, flinging her back over. More yelps and screams started. She forced me onto the counter, smashing my head beside a plate. I flung a glass across to her, skipping across for my g*n, pushing tables back and forth. In the corner of my eyes, I shot the others a go get the car and meet me here look. Lyla and Venus went off, slowly sliding out the café, while I started burning off some calories by tackling the girl. She seemed to be a master at every move, twisting and spinning out of every combination I could summon. She spun my hand above my head, twisting it into a dead lock, yanking myself out of it, I kneed her stomach- hard. As sudden as it could be, she grabbed a teen girl- 13 or so, looping a hand knife over her neck. “Now- now. Put down your g*n and I will release her.” She menaced. I laughed, dropping my g*n and sliding it in front of me. The girl yelped, screaming with tears running down her face. “What do you want.” I asked. “You to stop coming after me.” “I’ve dropped my g*n now- LET GO!” “Nahah- not yet hand me Adrastea and I will release her.” Slowly pulling the weapon out I walked towards them, ‘tripping’ over the girl’s bag, I snatch the g*n up. Taking less than a second to aim, I shot through to Adrastea girl’s leg. “Duck!” I yelled, firing another shot- obviously missing. “Get on the GODDAMNED car!” The other yelled as they flung past me. “It was just a take for a movie don’t worry.” “Wait- what- where are the cameras?” “Umm- there just there.” Running off the car, I jumped into shotgun. The girl limped after me, hopping into what looked like a tank- may I clarify, not a car. “Jesus Chris- o my god, he’s shooting at us.” “Did you bring the big g*n?” “Under there.”  “Hey do you mind?” Grabbing the browning automatic rifle, I stood up opening the top window, I flung myself up, taking less than a second to steady my aim, holding tight on the trigger, firing straight at the girl’s tank. “Crap- girls stay low.” I felt lucky I was leaning against the top of the car- not flying away when Rio basically flung the car at a 90-degree angle. “Cover me- I need to reload.” “I got it,” Ziara shouted while whipping out her pistol, “Do a J- turn on my mark!” “Ok…” “NOW! The car swerved fast, jerking all of us forward while Ziara leaned out the door—with her immaculate aim, or just luck—fired four rapid shots, one on each wheel, slowing the car down by seconds while we sped off again. Going past the small quirks of town, we ending beside the sea. “Jez that was clo-” Before we finished, the tank flung towards us, throwing us into the water, flinging me out in the process. Knocking on the window, I calmed my breathing, raising the oxygen level in my exo, signaling the others to do the same. Upon freeing the girls, a loud explosion went of above water, jerking a current towards us. ~“I swear to god.” Gwen hissed taking off the soaking exo as she flopped onto the bed. I winced taking mine off, a bullet wound. “What the hell Alyssia?” The others exclaimed to me revealing the massive bruise on my upper back. “I think I go gazed by a bullet- they were flying everywhere.” “Let me take a look.” “Are you ok?” “Mhm, if your standard of ‘ok’ is feeling like you’ve just been ran over by a bus.”
