"Skylar is the one, who told me to find out something that could be used against Jenna. Don't kill me, Marcel," Laura said as she cried in pain. The blood trickled down her cheek as Marcel had made a deep cut on her face to give her a reminder with whom she dared to play with.
Hearing Skylar's name, Marcel's anger flared more.
"You won't live in peace, Laura. Do what I say to you if you want to live," Marcel said.
Laura's eyes widened in terror as Marcel's cold command pierced through her. She nodded frantically, too afraid to argue.
"I-I'll do it. I'll go to the police and confess," Laura stammered through her sobs, her voice shaky and broken. She knew she had no other choice. Marcel was not a man who made idle threats.
