"I have work to attend to, and if you don't give it back, I'll have no choice but to report this to the police," she added, trying to keep her composure as she delivered the threat. Marcel responded with a chuckle, a sound that sent a shiver down Jenna's spine. Without a word, he sauntered over to the cupboard. Jenna's eyes widened in realization—he had hidden her phone there the entire time, and she hadn't even thought to look.
