Nuzo’s PO

Alpha Lodwig looked at me from head to toe. I could tell he was trying to figure out who I was. He did not look impressed by my presence in this place. In fact, he looked angry, like he was ready to kill me at any moment. The warriors behind him were now on alert, reacting to their Alpha’s mood. Out of nowhere, he started laughing, a sinister laugh, as if he had just figured something out. “Did they send you to kill me, boy?” Lodwig asked, that unsettling smile still on his face. I did not answer. I stood still and tall, looking him straight in the eyes, showing no fear. Deep down, I was scared. He was stronger, and I could feel it in his voice and his presence. “I do not like repeating myself, boy. Who sent you?” he asked again.

I held his stare without wavering. I knew he wou
