Beep. Beep. Beep. The sound of a machine wakes me. I attempt to move only to find that someone is holding my hand. Judging by the tingles I feel it is my mate. I turn to look at him to find he is looking straight at me with tears in his eyes. "Where are my aunt and uncle?" I ask him.
"Right here little Raven," Uncle Tomas says. "Before you ask how we got out, he let us out."
"Where are we?" I asked no one in particular.
"The pack doctors," A new voice enters the room and I turn to see my brother with his mate Abbigale.
"London, why am I here and how long have I been here?" I ask.
"You have been asleep for two days Regina Mea," I turn to Lukis who speaks for the first time. "What the hell were you thinking! Fighting four Ferals! Are you crazy! You could have died!" he rants.
I look at him stunned. 'Did he just yell at us?' I ask Lavette.
'Mate is protective of us!' Lavette says happily.
'Well I guess I can't count on you to have my back,' I tell her.
"I am alive aren't I? Why are you so pissed? I am a Alpha I protect what is mine!" I yell back.
"Mommy?" A little voice calls me. I look by my brother and spot a little boy with black hair and one brown eye and one blue.
'Pup! My Pup!' Lavette says in tears.
I get up and walk towards him stunned. I inhale his scent. "Dimitri? Oh my beautiful pup! My baby boy!" I say as I get down and hug him. I began crying.
"Mommy please dont cry. It will make daddy in heaven sad," he says as he wipes my tears.
"This is your Pup? He... he has two different eye colors," Lukis said.
"Dimitri, go with your grandparents for a bit. I need to talk to this nice man here," I pick him up and hand him to Amy and Tomas. (sorry I had to change her name because I realized that I had 2 characters with the same name. opps.)
"Let's go get something to eat for your mommy she must be hungry," Amy said.
'Joseph and Andrew guard them.' I mind link two of my best fighters. "Leave us, now," I ordered every one in the room.
When everyone is gone I close the door and lock it. I sigh, "yes he is my pup. And he was born with two different eye colors. Before you ask, I loved his father deeply, he was my world until he died. But I don't know if I can accept you. Given your lineage." I told him.
"Why? What is wrong with my lineage? I may be a Rogue now but I am still heir to the Romanian Black Night pack," he says as he moves closer to cup my cheeks.
'Should we lie to him?' I ask Lavette.
'No we should test his loyalty to us,' she says.
'Okay,' I tell her.
"Because I believe your father took something from me! He took a life! My mothers!" I yell at him. "So until I find out the truth I will not be yours!"
"You will be mine, Regina Mea!" he whispered in my ear and it sent shivers down my spine.
"You are too arrogant for your own good!" I growled at him.
He shoved me against the wall and kissed me long and deep. "Your body betrays you, Regina Mea." he tells me.
I shove him away, "I will find out why he killed her and what he wanted with me."
"Then it looks like I am going home. But the only way I can do that is with you on my arms. So what will it be?" he asks.
"f**k! It looks like we are going to Romania," I tell him.
'I wonder how far his loyalty will go and how long it will last,' Lavette says.
