Not the welcome I expected

I was shocked to see Rebecca had shifted and was licking my pup. My pups giggles filled the plane. "You finally shifted Beccy," he said fending off her licks.

She shifted back and grabbed a blanket to cover herself. "Yes, Dimi I was finally able to because of your mother," She said and looked at me.

I was about to say something when the pilot spoke, "Attention all passengers we will be landing in about thirty minutes. Please take your seats."

I grabbed Dimitri and Becca and took them to the seats. I buckled Dimitri in and told Becca to do the same.

"Becca how do ya'll know each other?" I asked her.

"From the two month that Dimi was there I would be taken down there as punishment from time to time and we would talk. He told me about you and his pack the stories he would tell me let me know that there was a pack out there that was better then mine," she explained.

"Why did you never mention it?" I asked mainly out of curiosity.

"I... I..." she stuttered for a moment before she took a deep breath and said in one breath, "I was afraid you would be upset and loose it again."

"Why would you be afraid of me? Have I ever treated you badly? Have I or anyone else ever raised a hand to you?" I fired questions at her.

"No, you have never treated me bad. Everyone in the pack has been nothing but kind to me even though I am a orphan. No one has ever raised a hand to me. But you have to remember I was only 14 and had just survived my... no not my pack it was... no I was never a part of that pack... that packs massacre.Not only that you where the one who reached out a hand and pulled me from that abyss. That day you not only killed the Alpha, Luna and Bata but the men, women, elderly and even the children. You were covered in blood and I took that blood stained and and let you pull me out of there. Not only did I cling to your hand you clung to mine. It always seemed like you were trying to hold something back. So I never mention it, and I eventually put it in the back of my mind," she explained.

I was about to say something when the pilot spoke, "Okay we are now in Romania I hope y'all enjoy your stay and keep warm," he said.

We gather our stuff and begin to head down the stairs. I am watching my steps so when I get to the bottom and turn around to check if Dimitri is ok. I see everybody has their jaw dropped. So I turned back around and see what is happening.

"Bine ati venit, Regina Mea." The men lined up in two rows say in unison.

Well this is not what I expected at all. I car waiting yes. but this and why do I keep hearing that phrase Regina Mea. What the hell does it mean. well any way this was an unexpected welcome.
