Aurora’s POV: When Klaus came back to my room that evening, I was nothing but a crying mess. I couldn’t even see him clearly or form coherent sentences due to how messed up I was. My heart ached for my loss, and no matter how much I thought about it, I just couldn’t shake out the feeling of dread… emptiness, and loss. He’d gone too soon… too fast. Heck, I wasn’t even given the opportunity to say goodbye to him, and worst of all, I couldn’t help him. “What is it?” He said softly, holding me close. I was sprawled on the floor so he had to sit with me there whilst hugging me. “He’s… he’s dead!” I announced between hiccups. “I couldn’t save him, Klaus, I couldn’t!” I cried.
