Aurora’s POV
I opened my eyes with enormous effort. Everything around me was fuzzy and I couldn’t even understand what was going on or where I was. It took several minutes before I realized that I was in a car. A moving car. So far, I could only move my eyes slightly, the rest of my body was dead weight. I couldn’t even turn my neck to see who else was in the car with me or where I was going.
I couldn’t recall getting into a car. The last thing I remember was being at the summit. Then I went to the balcony. Yes, I remember stepping out for fresh air. And after that? I remembered talking … I had been talking to someone. But who? Dammit! Why couldn’t I remember who I had been talking to?
