Over the course of the following days, I quickly realized that my plan to escape would be next to impossible. The blood moon pack had only one point of entry and exit which was heavily guarded. Not to mention how I stood out like a sore thumb here, it would be way too easy for me to be caught. I spent the majority of the first few days following Danielle around.
She was great company despite our age difference and I had come to think of her as the big sister I never had. But one day, I discovered the Pack library and now I spend most of my time there. It was stocked and filled with an impossible number of books; I wasn’t sure I would be able to finish reading them in this lifetime.
