Aurora’s POV
I washed up quickly. Even though I had barely slept all night, excitement buzzed through me. I couldn’t keep my hand off my stomach, rubbing it at different intervals and smiling to myself. I was starting to notice a slight roundness to the curve of my abdomen.
It felt so good to be an expectant mother again, not that I had ever stopped in the real sense.
I chose a light v-necked dress for today and I had barely pulled it over my head when I heard a knock at the door. I hastily pulled down my dress and opened the door.
A tinge of disappointment worked its way through my insides. There was only a maid at my door. I chewed my lip nervously, wondering why I had been expecting someone else, Klaus specifically. I blushed on remembering his peculiar way of escorting me.
