Aurora’s Pov
Michael was visibly shocked by my rude tone. I had been nothing but sweet to him while we were together so he had hardly heard me raise my voice.
“Well?” I asked again.
“Sorry for waking you up. I need to talk to you” He says sheepishly. “Can you come outside?”
“Why?” I asked with skepticism etched into my voice.
“Please, I just need to talk about some stuff… just for a few minutes” It was time for my own dose of shock. Michael using the word ‘please’ was like an anomaly. What had gotten into him?
“Ok. I’ll be out in a few,” I said and snapped my blinds closed.
I patted my hair down absentmindedly as I made my way out of my bedroom and outside of our house. Michael was already waiting at the entrance.
“Heyyyy…” He drawled out seemingly at a loss for words.
