Aurora’s POV:
By the time I opened my eyes again, it was bright in the morning. A look at my bedside clock confirmed it was well past 10 am… It’s quite unusual for me to sleep in. My mom was no longer in the room and I briefly wondered when she had left and why she didn’t wake me. I stood up and stretched a few times. I was feeling well-rested, a girl could get used to this.
My first stop was the bathroom. I didn’t have my own bathroom, Bella and I usually shared the bathroom down the hallway that also served as the guest restroom. I was delighted to find the bathroom empty as Bella usually hoards the bathroom in the mornings and I have to wait at least an hour till she’s done. Curse her beauty routines.
