Carli and Ethan cleared the dishes, and with Zach in the kitchen on KP, Alyssa and Fiona were left to answer guest questions, help them settle in the lobby with a game or book, or saying goodnight as the guests returned to their cabins.
“I haven’t called J.J. I didn’t want to bother him while he looked after Sissy. Have you heard how she’s doing?” Carli asked.
Zach didn’t look up from scrubbing the pots and baking sheets Alyssa used for dinner. “Sissy is doing fine. Her face is bruised, so she won’t be at the Rockin’ R for a while. She’s been trying to get J.J. to come back to work. He says he’ll be in tomorrow and will want some time to talk with you.”
