Crescent moon pack
Amelia stood alone in a world that wasn’t real, dark Fog curled around her ankles like living mist very cold and damp. The sky above was void of stars, a canvas of pitch black. Silence pressed in from every side heavy and unnatural. A sudden movement catches her attention, she follows the sound then she sees him. A man, half-submerged in shadows, barely visible , he seems tall, but has a ver powerful and unmoving aura. Only his glowing blue eyes cut through the dark, watching her like he’d known her forever. His eyes seems to be begging her but she doesn’t understand, she stepped a bit closer he still didn’t speak, But he raised a hand toward her.
Something in Amelia’s chest ached, a pull she couldn’t explain, Her feet moved faster before her brain could understand , she moved toward him, toward the darkness.
“Who are you?” she whispered, voice trembling with tenderness, Still he did not answer.
She’s closet to him now, she reaches out her hands to him, the moment their hands make contact, the shadows surged, suddenly alive and hungry, They wrapped themselves around her wrists, slithered up her arms, whispering things she couldn’t understand and suddenly pulls her into the dark abyss with him.
“No...” she gasped, trying to fight it.
But it was too late.
Instead of saving him, she was falling with him, Into the darkness, but he never let go.
As their body drowned in the darkness, he uses his hands to caress her face, sparks filling every touch he made. While staring deep into her eyes, he finally speaks,
“You were never meant to save me… Amelia.”
Amelia shot upright in bed, a scream caught in her throat.
Her room was still, the Moonlight spilled through the curtains painting pale silver streaks across her quilt, but she couldn’t feel it, she couldn’t feel anything other than the sparks in her dream.
She placing a hand on her chest, Her heart was pounding like it wanted to burst out, staring a her hands, she still felt a tingling sensation, it is still burning from the touch of his.
“What the hell...who is he?” she whispered, voice raspy and shaken, She scrambled out of bed nearly tripping over the blanket tangled at her feet. With short and shallow gasps she stumbled to the mirror, Her reflection stared back at her, hair wild, eyes wide, skin pale. But behind her own gaze... there was something else, Something unfamiliar, His eyes.
Blue. Piercing. Haunting.
They’d burned into her even now, long after waking.
She grabbed the edge of the dresser, trying to steady herself, she must be going insane
“It was just a dream,” she muttered. “Just a dream.” She tried to convince herself.
But it wasn’t and she knew it.
She could feel him, whoever he was like an invisible thread pulled tight inside her chest. A quiet hum under her skin, a presence as if someone was watching her from far away… or waiting for her.
And strangest of it all is that, she wasn’t afraid of him, rather she felt connected to him, bound to him, like she belonged to him even though she had never seen that face before, it is the most beautiful face she has ever seen. Deciding to go on a run she quietly leaves the room walking out she bumps into Adien, she mutters an apology, “it’s fine I wasn’t looking” he mumbles shyly.
“ So yeah I’ll be going now” he nods at her and goes to his room. Finally she’s outside, the night air seems fresher like a heavy weight is lifted off her shoulders. She asks her wolf if she wants to come out, her wolf refuses, shrugging she starts running deep into the forest. She runs without needing direction because she’s suddenly at a spot, close to the park waterfall. Her parents grave, “in loving memory of Beta Hayden Forbes and his Wife Sara Forbes, you remain forever in our hearts”.
Flashback
Sixteen years old Amelia was sitting down in front of her parents frowning, her mum was giggling like a school girl while her Dad planted kisses on her mother’s face,
“ ugh Dad, can you not?” she says slightly irritated, her parents look at each other and smile as though communicating with themselves while she stares at them confused, before she could understand what’s going on they both pull her up to themselves and start peppering kisses on her. This causes her to giggle.
End of flashback.
“ Sigh, I miss you guys so much”....she was interrupted when a horrid smell passes her nose, Rouges! . The daughter of a Beta obviously she has basic combat training,
“ Show yourselves midgets” her wolf surfaces, then three rabid Rouges appears out of nowhere, smirking to herself. She feels her powers heighten...
“Freeze..” the Rouges tried to attack but they couldn’t move, A man wearing a black cloak that covers his face steps out, “took you long enough” she smiles addressing him. Chuckling he asks “ What are you?” slightly confused she tilts her head to the left.
“ Who are you?”
“ I am the next Alpha of this pack, tell Alpha Stephan I said hi” and just like that he vanishes, leaving the rabid Rouges struggling. She turns to them, “Burn” and just like that they erupt in flames. She detest rogues, they are the reason why her parents were dead.
“ That was Badass if you ask me” Beta Lucas steps out of the shadow, blushing slightly I turn to face him,
“ I was never a damsel in distress type of girl”
“ I never pegged you to be one” he walks closer to her and pulls her into a hug, mumbling softly into her hair “ I missed you”.
