Chapter seven

Akon POV

Whenever I'm furious there is one thing that makes me feel so much better being in the kitchen, to Cook something or bake something it does not really matter as long as I'm in the kitchen.

Sometimes, I like to use my fury to come up with new designs. You see I'm very passion about fashion, I would like to be a great designer one day but my family did not support my dream, now I'm a married woman in the name at least so I think I will pursue my dreams so the question is should I discuss it with my husband or not don't get me wrong I'm an independent woman who do not need anyone's permission to do anything talk less of a man who do not care about me.

But the truth is that I'm pregnant with his children so pursuing my dreams when am still pregnant kinda involves him just to be safe, I do not really want to be arguing with him and after today I would really say he is the brat here who uses cheap tactics to get his way so with that being said, I will definitely discuss it with him not for permission but to let him know just in case, now I have to convince the kitchen staff to f**k off, I need it all to my myself.

'' Mrs Williams, do you need anything you should have asked me to bring it to you you did not have to come all the way, you should go rest and I will bring you whatever you need. ''

They think  I'm disabled or what, why would I send anybody or that is right they think I'm a snob, a typical Johnsons but not me I love to get me hands dirty.

'' Do not worry about that all of you have a day off, I will take care of the kitchen today and I'm not going to debate that with any of you so off you go. ''

I know they are surprised it is not everyday that someone new to the household take over everything but can you blame me, I like to do something with myself. Either to make new designs or do house chores actually am not a fun of house helps doing everything in the house like you do not exist that makes me wonder kind of woman is Madam Leila.

Every housewife loves to be in charge of her household right? If you  are not working then you take care of the household but from the looks of things she only love to take care of her appearance well technically that is the only asset she has so she is basically right to keep that glow for her ex husband.

I'm no house wife of course but I love to be useful and right now I want to make something delicious for dinner, I do not care who eats it as a matter of fact I heard my dear hubby do not have time for home meals because he is always busy with dinner meetings, such a workaholic but that is his loose, I guess the staff, miss ex wife and myself will have ourselves a delicious meal today.

With that in mind, I begin dinner preparation. This kitchen is amazing I think I might have gotten myself a favorite spot in this house since my supposed bedroom holds my worst nightmare.

Done preparing diner and set the table, I'm now dressing after taking a well deserved bath. Like seriously being pregnant is a hard job people and am just two months into this pregnancy I can not begin to imagine how it will be when am almost due to put to birth.

I actually fell asleep in the bath tap the cold water woke me up. I think I slept for more than an hour in the bathroom.

Having dressed, I come downstairs to serve for whoever is interested well I already gave Agie food to take to the staff quarters apparently they eat in their quarters and can not change that now can I so I let her take their dinner.

If Agie was right about the Madame of the house then she is about to come for dinner, she do not know I made dinner today anyway.

Having put extra plates at the dinning, I sit to have my dinner, it's not like I should wait for anyone right?. Do not think like that, I have never had manners of the rich so give me a break will ya.

Just as I thought I will have dinner by myself after all, her Majesty grace me with her presence along none other than my dear hubby and let me tell you, he looks delectable with just sweats and a t-shirt, his hair is wet like he just got out of shower. Someone pinch me I'm starring at him when am supposed to be mad at him but how do you stay mad at someone when they look like that, I should have known better, like damn ooh dear double that.

'' For a Johnsons, you lack manners absolutely. You do not have the decency to wait for others before you dig in, huh? ''

I really feel like strangling her, who do she think she is to say anything about my manners but she is absolutely right am nothing like a true and I know that duh.

'' Do not worry your little pretty about my manners and yes am nothing like a true Johnsons, do you want a secret Miss am damn proud of that, unlike you am no snob. I like me the way I'm so you better suck it up. ''

I can tell my dear hubby is fighting off a smile, the dude must be scared of her so it seems.

'' So you both can take a seat and make yourselves comfortable for am not your typical Johnsons or any snob for that matter, I do what I want when I want it, got that I will not answer you next time. ''

That's the only warning she will get from me like seriously why should I wait for them to have my dinner, it's not like we are going to feed each other right?

I'm paying close attention to their reaction to my cooking, you see not to brag but am a pretty good cook. I like to explore new recipes when am in the kitchen.

'' So do we have a new cook in this house or something, Agie has never been this good before and she is the beat chef that I know so where did this new cook come from or did Miss bratty here order food. ''

She will not understand that because when she decided to come back to her husband's house, I was done with dinner so him asking that question is pointless if she do not even know what goes on in this very house but let's see what she will tell him.

'' Oh love, I did not recruit any new staff in this house and you know am in charge of that, I bet she ordered food from some restaurant and she says she no snob, humm. ''

Wrong move Darling, first rule of survival is that do not make assumption when you know nothing.

'' confidence is good but over confidence is foolishness, what makes the both of you so sure that I ordered food but not made it myself did you think of that? ''

My husband's jaw is almost on the table, what he thinks I can not cook that well or what.

And Mrs ex wife looks furious right now oh well might as well make it worse.

'' What are you two so stuck up to realize that some human beings like to make their own meals?. There was one thing I was good for in the Johnsons' house that is be a perfect chef when they have guests. ''

Oops too much information, they do not need to know about my family and I can already see the gears turning in husband's mind, no no no I do not need his pity anything but that.

'' What I actually meant is that my family did not need any chef when they had guests for I was better than the four chefs in the Johnsons household. ''

Nice save Akon, really good job but I know Mr hubby is not convinced, nope not in the slightest.

'' So you mean to tell me that you are actually good at something?, at least now you will not only be bearing my love children but you will also cook for us after all you can not stay for free in this house. ''

She will not be smirking at me if she knew that am not a freeloader like her, unlike her am planning to work.

'' She will not be doing any household chores, she will be resting all day, no stressing yourself about these kind of things. ''

So Mr hubby can speak but too late Mr, I'm not lazy and I hate being idle.

'' Don't worry about stressing myself hubby dearest for I can not stay idle for a whole day, that is not medically health to sleep all day. And about being a freeloader I will have you know I do not use anyone's resources without contributing something actually that brings me to what I wanted to discuss with you later on but since we are already at it, I would like to work. ''

OK I expected his shock but not that reaction, the dude actually choked on his own saliva, I'm not wicked to give him that news with food in his mouth to avoid him choking but he did anyway and I can tell the murderous look he is giving me right now that he is not please in the slightest, f**k my life.
