NIGHTFALL CAME, AND THE ELDERS started coming in. Each community had two elders in charge. It was a common rule within the kingdom, so no one had absolute power over a community. Also, this was to ease the burden for the elders. After all, it was a hard task to lead engkantos. All sorts of problems come up every time. There was never a dull day. The first to arrive were Prince Carlos and Anita. They were representing the kama-kama (dwarves) and albularyo communities. Prince Carlos was her father’s brother.
