Cupey frowned and glanced at the report before him again. “ According to this report, Ariel is your sister, and she got sentenced to life imprisonment for murder.”
“ She's out. She's out of prison and I think she hates me.” Ava sobbed.
Cupey’s frown deepened. ‘ She's out? After three years? Did she break out? I don't think so, there's no news or report of any fugitive’
He thought to himself before picking up his phone and dialing a contact. “ Hello— I want you to check something for me real quick.” He said over the phone, hung up, and sent a text to the person before turning back to Ava.
“ You said she hates you, why?”
She sniffled. “ Because she likes Mantis. She's always been in love with him.”
“It says here that she killed your classmate because of him.”
“ Yes.” Ava nodded.
