Zyaire lead the group with me to his left. Zaydon and Freya flanked his right and Zayne and Teagan flanked his left. The warriors spread out behind us, and we made the five-mile trek to the Red Moon territory.
Two of the Elders’ guards met us at the gate and led us through. The pack was assembled throughout the territory’s clearing, on edge and confused. I noticed that Selah’s parents were not among the crowd.
The Elders had Alpha Malachi, Luna Jennifer, Betas Holden and Hannah, and Gammas Hayes and Amara assembled on the packhouse porch as we approached. Chase, Trey, and Jason were also on the porch. They all tensed when they saw our warriors, and fear crossed their faces but was quickly replaced with determination.
