I didn’t know what I had done to piss the Moon Goddess off to have been paired with Edison, but that chapter of my life was over. The only two positive things that came from it were Samson and Sawyer.
That chapter was done, and it was time to live my new life free from his abuse with my two mates who I already knew loved me.
Truth be told, I had already developed feelings for Aphrodite; maybe it was my subconscious knowing she was my second chance mate, but those feelings had already been there. Or maybe it was the Moon Goddess’s way of repaying me for the misdeed of pairing me with Edison. Either way, I was ready to be loved the way I deserved to be from the beginning.
