*Aphrodite’s P.O.V.*
Thirty minutes later, Zyaire, Alpha Regis and Luna Celius, Rubris, Amanda, Nikolas, Nadia, Mira, Aunt Ariadne, Eros, and I were convened in the conference room along with Cassius, Axel, Cannon, Skyler, and Denver, our top warriors. We were waiting on Alpha Troy, Luna Nat, Johan, and Milani.
There was a knock at the door, and I opened it, allowing Alpha Troy, Luna Nat, Johan, and Milani to come in, but Milani was frozen in place, staring at Rubris who was also staring at her.
“Mate,” Rubris said.
Milani stared at him for a moment before saying, “mate.”
Rubris crossed the room to the door with a smile to which Milani returned in kind. He reached his hand out to her and she took it; he pulled her into the room gently, allowing the door to shut behind her.
