CHAPTER 7- LEOS POV

It's been three days. We have been travelling for three days. We haven't stopped much except to but something to eat or use the restroom. My parents told me it's not safe to linger another pack's territory for to long. We were just passing but they didn't wanna take the chances, because wolves were particularly sensitive to boundaries.
Living among humans was not easy because a shift at the wrong time would expose our existence and I am sure nobody would want to be a science project or to live a life of being hunted , To avoid human contact or accidental discovery by roaming humans packs mainly settled to living in the secluded areas with close to zero human contact and enough dense forest. What normal person would want to go in the middle of the forest.
My parents both drove in shifts and I know they were seriously exhausted even if they took cat naps in between.
My back was hurting from sleeping in the back seat or was it my body. I wasn't sure but I knew I was exhausted and could give anything to have a shower and a bed.
My dad says as he stops the car on the side of the road. and he looked at me.
"Why did we stop?" I asked
.
"We are almost there Leo but we need to talk about somethings before we get there." Mum says.
"So what do we need to talk about?" I ask.
" When we there I need you to promise me you won't tell anyone you are an Omega. I am not... we are not ashamed of you but we don't want anyone to bully you." she says as she looks at dad. "The Alpha is an old friend of mine and already knows the situation, and he promise to keep it a secret until everyone get to know you for you. He has no problem with how you are and feels pretty disappointed at the alpha in our old pack. He says everyone is really accept but I am not willing to take the risk for now. " she continues.
"And what about school?" I ask.
"You won't attend the pack school. There is a human school near the pack which is one hour drive from home. The Alpha thinks it's better and you can get to interact with people who are not wolves. He said there are a few other wolves in the school and they keep a low PROFILE. Remember no exposing yourself. We can can get you enrolled as soon as possible .And one last thing we won't be living in the pack house so it will be easier for you."
"Why aren't we living in the pack house? School year has already started how can I still get admission? I hope it's not because of my situation." I say with a sadness to my voice.
"The alpha promised us a place a bit far from the packhouse at our REQUEST. And it not because of 'your situation' as you call it. Look, your heat is not the as normal as a she-wolf's it's more complex. When you go into heat every wolf that smells you will be affected and want to f**k you, unless you have a mate and have been marked. Your mates scent on you will shoo the others away.
Your heat has not started yet but it will start very soon and I don't want you at the risk of being r***d by horny men. Also, being away from the rest is good because you can have the privacy you really need to adjust to this place.I also hope you can connect with Talina again." she says a with sadness.
"As for school the Aplha talked to the principle and being a major contributor of the school funds they agreed to take you even though school already started. "she finishes takes a breath.
" Wow ,that a lot to digest. Thank you for thinking about me. you are absolutely the best parents anyone could ever ask for." I tell them.
All that mushy talk was making me feel like I wanna cry. Why the heck have been such an emotional wreck of late?
" You know we do care about you and we want you to have an easy time adjusting to the new environment."
I have always been in the center of attention to my parents. Being the only child after years of struggle for the to get a child, my twin died at birth but that never stopped my parents from showing me how much they love me. I always want to give them as little worry as I can, seeing how much they do for me. This is my chance to start a new life and prove to them they don't have to worry as much about me.
"Let's head to our new life." I say as my dad starts the car.

It only only took us half an hour to go through the small town. The beta of the park is waiting for us as we pack our car.
"Welcome to the Blue moon pack. The alpha is waiting for you." He says as he walks to our car as we get out of the car.
"Welcome back home, Candace." he tells my mum as he embraces her in a hug 'Wow they look like two long lost siblings.'
"Good to see you Beta Norman again." He says as he greets my dad. " Good to see you too Beta Joshua. Just address me as Norman, I am no long a Beta anymore. " my dad says.
"You are still a beta like me even though you are no longer at your old pack, you still have the skills of the best as a beta. I am sure I will need your help around here and call me Josh just like the old days." Josh tells my dad and then looks at me. " I see Leo has really grown up."
"Nice to finally meet you Leo. I am Beta Joshua, but you can address me as Josh like the rest of the pack members." he addresses me.
"Me too,Josh. How do you know me?" I ask knowing that was a stupid question most especially because they need to know my name to get the admission at the new school.
"Sandy told me about you after you were born." he says and I look at my mother, and I am sure the ' Why' question on my face was visible.
Josh notices the question on my face and looks at my mum. "I see you haven't told him. I am really disappointed in you, baby sister."
"Baby sister? What do you mean baby sister? Don't tell me you are my uncle." I say a bit confused as to my parents never informed of that her relatives were still alive.
"Exactly I am your uncle and I see Candace never informed you about me. But you can call me Josh till you are comfortable enough to call me Uncle." He says with a certain sadness to his voice.
"Let's not keep the alpha waiting anymore." he says as he walks towards the more of a mansion than house as we closely follow behind.
