He held her firmly , his lips approaching hers dangerously . Emma tried to get release from his grip but he was strong enough to keep her still .
He's built like hell..
Suddenly she knees him in the groin causing him to brusquely drop his grip and walk away grimacing .
" oh s**t , sweetie " he says while holding his groin tightly from the pain .
" you ...you are insane !" She said in disbelief . How could he still call her that shitty name after what she did to him .
Emma took the chance and ran
"Run ......I'll catch sooner or later . " he said before moaning in pain .

God knows how Emma reached home , she was still at the state of shock . She felt dirty and vulnerable.
She undressed and headed towards the shower . She really needed one
She added all her magical ingredients and essential oils before sinking deep .
After finishing , she wore her bathrobe and laid still on the bed .
She really needed a second for herself , she wondered , why she was still single ?
Many called her beautiful and many flattered her on the basis of look but was she really who she imitated is ?
And finally asked herself the worst and hardest question any girl would ask ......
Will she ever be loved ?......
Emma felt her lids getting heavy and had difficulty in keeping them open ....slowly she fell asleep leaving her questions unanswered

Max stirred in his bed ..... he couldn't sleep . She was on his mind and he couldn't get rid of his dark thoughts though he enjoyed them .
He wanted to touch her, kiss her strawberry lips and taste her so badly it hurts .
He's no longer able to focus on his work because the woman he craves is just one floor below him . How hard .
"No matter how slow it will take , I'll get you .....soon "

After 1 month........
Emma took a sip from her dark coffee and returned her gaze to the numbers again . She crossed some and added some and things went like that until she was called to the conference room .
She closed her folder and headed to the elevator , she hesitated before pressing the button but come on he's the boss .
She knocked the ebony door waiting for an answer . Once she was granted the permission she stepped into a calm toned room . A large black glass table occupied the center and similar coloured chairs were surrounding it .
Twelve men occupied the chairs and at the center our beloved King Mr.winwood with his legs crossed and hands tapping at the table impatiently .
She recognized Mr.Arnold but the rest were strange faces . She guessed that they maybe the heads of rest of the departments .
Max beckoned to Emma , she obeyed and took a seat next to his right .
"2 days from now , we'll be heading to Italy for an international meeting . It will be crucial for us to be present and now to why we are present here "
Max paused before continuing again
"While I'm absent , Everything regarding any legal procedures or the company , I
Should be the first to be informed .....always "
Max stopped waiting for any questions
Then Mr.Arnold spoke
"I really think that Emma might be the right person "
Emma leaned on the back of her chair and crossed her arms in discomfort
"No , I don't think so " Max said making Emma's and Mr.Arnold's eyes slightly widen
As if I care mr. Jerk
Emma didn't turn her face but kept staring at the grey wall
Mr.Arnold was quick to ask for the reason and so was Max
"Because simply she'll be accompanying me "
Now that's when Emma turned facing her cold boss
