After 2 days
The dinging sound made Emma aware of the elevator finally opening .
The 2 days passed and she was at the moment heading to Max's office to give him her last 2 days pending work .
"Oh please help me " she muttered under her breath before knocking the wooden door
" Come in " A husky voice granted her the permission
A part of her missed his voice she felt as if her heart finally came intact with its missing pieces
A smile formed on her face but she made sure that she erase as fast
She opened the door to see Max focused on the screen with his signature position ; one hand resting on the arm of the chair and the second forming a support for resting his head
The second she entered Max took notice of her
"Oh , look who's here ! You can't imagine who much we missed you
