He took his phone out to call her but saw her short message instead. Is this supposed to mean anything? He tried her phone but as expected, she had switched the phone off.
Shaking his head at Jade's stubbornness, he detective Burns. With no care for greetings, he jumped right into the call, “I want all data on my car”.
“She has left, hasn’t she?” Burns' peppy voice greeted him from the other end.
“Yes! What do you know about it?”
“Just before calling you, she had received a call from somewhere in Jarrah forest. Let me run the analytics. Is your car GPS activated?”
“Yes, you will need to coordinate with the Jade Global transport department! Meet me in the morning at the office in the Silver Moon pack house”.
