Scarlet came around and found herself hanging with her hands tied up to a bar. She was aware of her nakedness. The room was pitch dark and she could smell the alluring scent of Jade.
Her pupils adjusted to the darkness as she peered around. Her vampire senses did not need light. She was a creature of the darkness. She looked around the cave-like room with the glass partition at one end.
Another naked body hanging next to her caught her attention and she gasped. “JADE!” She screamed. “Jade, honey, wake up. I am here.” A screech left her lips as Jade stood limp.
Her head was rolled onto one side and beautiful green eyes were closed. Her body had bruises and welts all over. A cut ran across her back with dried blood clotted over the cut.
