What the f*ck! Why? Bewildered and groggy, Scarlet thought, staring at the man pointing the barrel at her.
Jono had attacked her on her chest. The Kevlar suit had saved her. Good! She had taken Lucas' suggestion.
A red wolf jumped on Jono and the gun fell out of his hand, landing next to the sabre. Everything moved quickly as a few more wolves attacked the other two vampires.
She stared at the moving figures. The lightning speed with which the fight ensued was only possible when wolves and vampires were involved. Darkness did nothing to hide the fierceness of the battle.
Growls and screeches filled up the area as the wolves and the vampires clashed.
The Red Wolf and Jono both leapt towards the weapons lying in front of Scarlet.
