They reached Jeremy’s house and the moment the main door opened, a tiny ball of fiery redhead caught hold of Scarlet’s leg.
“Aunt Scar Scar!” The little girl’s giggles filled up the room as Scarlet looked at a toddler hanging on to her leg.
The tiny human gave her a million dollar smile and blabbered in her sweet unclear words. “Me mished you! Me looove you”
Scarlet eyes glowed as she found the baby’s gesture endearing, although she couldn’t recollect meeting the baby ever.
Jeremy laughed at them. “This is Mia. You have seen her in photos and video calls. My son Joshua is out for school. He has learnt kickboxing moves from you and pursues it seriously. You haven’t been able to actually meet them for the last few years.”
