The next morning Scarlet received a call from Kirra. She asked her to get the jeep to carry James’ spying equipment back to the packhouse. She needed her sword and a change of clothes too.
The second request was fine but the second part of the request ticket her off. She was expected to drive the jeep back instead of accompanying Kirra through the jungle route. With no wolf how was Kirra going to fight against any attack?
Once Kirra explained the reasons she had to agree. But she wasn’t happy.
It was necessary for them to be secretive about this plan of setting up spy cams but what about Kirra travelling through the forest without being able to shift? The tension in her system was permanent since she lost Jade and being away from Kirra while she travelled through danger
